Our Experts Biography

Prof. Gerald B. Peñaranda, is a Registered Psychologist. He is a member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP). He took his Master of Science in Psychology, major in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from De La Salle University-Manila, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ateneo de Naga University. As an HR and OD trainer consultant, he has been a resource for various seminars and workshops. He is a consultant and professional coach of Premiere Value Provider, Inc., serving as a resource person for its mental health solutions.

He worked for an International NGO called SOS Children’s Villages for more than six (6) years, contributing his competencies in the management and development areas of Human Resources, especially in training and development. After his six-year stint with an international NGO, Prof. Peñaranda worked with the Social and Development Research Center of De La Salle University, particularly with a project geared toward localizing the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). He also taught at the Department of Psychology of De La Salle University. Prof. Peñaranda teaches in the Psychology Department of the University of the Philippines in Diliman. He is teaching Occupational Health Psychology at the graduate level and Industrial/Organizational psychology at the undergraduate level.
