This training program is designed to empower participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to automate data processes, create visually engaging reports, and leverage digital tools for efficient decision-making. Through hands-on exercises and real-world applications, participants will gain proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Power BI.
The course is designed for learners who do not have any technical background. Microsoft Power BI is user-friendly and can easily be learned without any background in programming, statistics, or other data science platforms.
Objectives
At the end of this training, participants will be well-equipped to integrate data automation and visualization into their workflows, enabling them to produce insightful reports and support informed decision-making within their organizations. Microsoft PowerBI Desktop will be used.
More specifically, participants will be able to:
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Power BI, including its interface, basic functionalities, and navigation skills
Display proficiency in data management and cleaning using Power BI's Power Query. They will apply these skills to effectively transform raw data into formats suitable for analysis and visualization.
Create compelling visualizations and charts. This includes the application of sophisticated techniques, enhancing their capability to convey insights effectively through visual data representation.
Create polished and professional reports and dashboards in Power BI. They will showcase their ability to present data insights in a visually appealing and informative manner, supporting effective decision-making within their organizations

Dr. Marshall Valencia is a social and organizational psychologist with 20 years of professional experience as an HR and organizational consultant, a trainer, and a social scientist. He is the Director for Research and Analytics of PVP and also a faculty member in the graduate program of the Psychology Department of the University of the Philippines. He was a former faculty and director for research at the Nottingham University Business School. He has published his researches and presented in scientific conferences in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, U.S.A., Australia, South Africa, Japan, Thailand, and Malaysia.
