This Pride Month special session is designed to enhance participants' understanding of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC), as well as its relevance and importance in the workplace. The session aims to strengthen awareness of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), foster respect for people of diverse genders and sexualities, and equip participants with practical approaches to promoting inclusion, belonging, and psychological safety in the workplace.

Our Resource Speaker
Rye Manuzon
A queer young Filipino social development worker and movement organizer, and uses they/them and siya pronouns, and "Mx." as honorifics. They currently work as the Executive Director of PANTAY, a registered and recognized youth-led socio-political collective of young LGBTIQ+ and allies, and organizations advocating for gender equality and human rights in the Philippines. Rye has been active in various social movements since 2012, in student politics at the University of the Philippines Baguio, in the youth movement when they joined a democratic socialist and progressive political party, and in the LGBTIQ+ movement leading PANTAY.
