✨LeaderSIP 2025: Strengthening Team Cohesion

Leadership unlocked. Teamwork ignited. Creativity unleashed! 💥

On May 30, 2025, PVP proudly partnered with Interasia Outsource Inc. (IOI) to launch the first of a four-part leadership development series: LeaderSIP 2025: Strengthening Team Cohesion—a high-energy, hands-on, and thought-provoking 4-hour workshop focused on fortifying team performance through trust, collaboration, and applied leadership.


Led by the dynamic and insightful Ms. Vina Vidal Vicente, this session was more than just a workshop—it was a transformative experience for IOI’s emerging leaders and their direct reports.


Why LeaderSIP 2025 Matters

The LeaderSIP 2025 program is designed to deepen employee engagement while embedding the behaviors and mindsets that drive long-term success. Through targeted development experiences, the program helps employees:

  • Develop a personal roadmap for excellence

  • Stay accountable in their pursuit of professional growth

  • Apply new skills to drive better outcomes for themselves and their teams

This first installment, “Strengthening Team Cohesion,” set the tone for the entire series.

Building Better Teams: A Deeper Dive into Cohesion

Rooted in Patrick Lencioni’s Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, the workshop provided a hands-on exploration of how trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results intersect in real team settings. Participants didn’t just learn the theory—they experienced it through applied improvisation, interactive exercises, and guided reflection.


Highlights included:

  • 🗣️ Relatable conversations on leadership challenges and team dynamics

  • 💡 Insightful facilitation that encouraged open sharing and critical thinking

  • 🔍 Team assessments that uncovered strengths and blind spots

  • 🛠️ Practical strategies to build trust, navigate healthy conflict, and co-create accountability

The approach was grounded in Applied Improvisation and Accelerated Learning—making the session engaging, high-impact, and memorable.


The “Build-a-Bridge” Challenge: Leadership in Action

One of the most unforgettable moments of the day?The “Build-a-Bridge” Challenge—a powerful metaphor for what cohesive teams can accomplish when given a shared goal, limited resources, and creative freedom.

Each group was tasked with designing and constructing a bridge using both provided and found materials. What emerged was nothing short of brilliant:

  • Teams strategized and sketched blueprints

  • Delegated tasks based on members’ strengths

  • Built structures that were not only functional but visually striking—from modern marvels to medieval wonders


Beyond engineering, the challenge revealed each team's approach to communication, conflict resolution, and collaborative problem-solving. It also demonstrated that when trust is strong and leadership is clear, teams can build more than just bridges—they build momentum, innovation, and shared success.


What Participants Took Away

By the end of the session, each participant walked away with:
