Hello, I’m Dr. Marshall.
Let me introduce myself. I’m a mix of two things: a psychologist and a data scientist. I was really trained as an industrial/ organizational psychologist but in the past 15 years, I have extensively worked as a statistician. This can be perceived as a strange combination: Psychology and Statistics and Data Science but I personally reckon that it is the perfect mix! This is especially relevant for our company PVP, where I serve as the President and Director for Research.
With PVP’s core businesses in organizational development, market research, and analytics, as well as our hero statement of Right Data, Deep Data, I lead the way in guiding our work in the use of data and analytics to strengthen the insights and solutions that we provide to our clients and partners.
Teaching is very close to my heart and this is the main reason why I teach courses on HR Analytics and Customer Analytics at PVP. Harnessing data is the future of business so executives should not be scared of using it in coming up with business decisions.
